Improve Your Tap Water - Top Tips on Water Filters and Conditioners
(Magnetite can be found in many magnetic healing bracelets.)
They called this substance Pi water and set out to duplicate these conditions. They believed that if these were the conditions that created luscious plants, imagine what it can do for your body. These scientists then set out to find a way to bring this precious water into your home.
These scientists discovered that magnetizing water created less deposit buildup and less acidic water. A more neutral pH acidity in water is extremely important. Why? The normal pH range of blood is 7.35 - 7.45 which is slightly alkaline. The pH range is 0-14. Zero is the most acidic and 14 is the most alkaline. Pure water has a pH balance of 7.
The cells and in the internal fluids in the body have a pH close to neutral. Disrupting the pH of blood can causes serious disruptions in chemical reactions of the blood and may cause death of the individual. Drinking pure water is beneficial for the body in continuing cellular functions.
All these things happen on a cellular level, a level many of us do not think about because it can not be seen by the naked eye.

The quick answer is probably not. However, there is a long answer to this question and many variables that can affect the answer.
I generally try to discourage someone from changing from a traditional salt water softener to magnetic softening. The change is quite often too drastic and quite a bit more than the homeowner is expecting. It all comes from a point of relativity, if you are used to hard water and change to magnetically treated water you would probably notice quite an improvement in the quality of your water, and the way it smells, tastes, and acts. However, if you come from softener water, most reasonable people would probably consider the change to be a step backwards.
More and more counties in the US are outlawing salt-based water softeners, because all that salt has to go somewhere, and that somewhere is back in the groundwater we drink.
So while there is no definite answer to this question, where you come from and what water you are used to will probably make the final determination for you. The good news is, if you're willing to give it a try, magnetic water softener manufacturers will give you anywhere from 90 days to a full year to test drive them.
By the way, some folks keep their salt water unit running in addition to magnetic treatment. This creates a middle ground, and most homeowners that use both methods turn down the salt conditioner and reduce the amount of salt and power they consume. A kind of compromise if you will.
